Christmas Tree Hunting with Dad and Grandpa

Alan and my dad took the kids to get Christmas trees this past weekend!  Looks like they had a great time sledding and cutting down trees, Merry Christmas!

Chip's Wedding

We had a blast this weekend at Chip Eklund's wedding!  We were in Denver for a few days to celebrate with him and Peanut!  It was a great day, beautiful wedding, good company, and a great party!  Addie was a flower girl so here are some pictures with her "princess" dress on as she called it.  Jake wasn't really agreeing with the picture taking, but I did get a few to show off his sweater and tie!  They looked so cute! 

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the Pumpkin Patch down the road from us on Sunday to get our pumpkins for Halloween!  Here are some pictures of the kids checking stuff out!

I tried out these pink curlers for Addie's hair last night to see if I could do that instead of getting up at the crack of dawn to curl her hair for preschool!  Didn't even know they still made them!  Ha!

Addie's First Day of Preschool

Addie starts preschool today, here she is with her backpack, all ready to go!  She was VERY excited this morning!  She has dance today too for the first time...going to be a tired little girl tonight!

Iowa Corn

My mom and dad just came back from Iowa and brought back some Iowa corn on the cob!  The kids love it!  Addie doesn't look very happy in the picture, but trust me, she loves it!

Alan's mom Micheline came to visit over the long weekend, here are some pics of the kids enjoying the nice weather!  FINALLY!  Jake is walking around everything and anything, but not on his own!  It amazes me what a laid back baby he is!  He could care less, so I guess I could care less too!  He is doing great since having his tubes put in a couple of weeks ago, he got through the surgery first thing in the morning and was back to himself that afternoon!  We are pretty lucky!  Addie is growing up WAY too fast, had to sign her up for preschool and dance classes for next fall!  She cant wait!
